Job Description**

World Wide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity available for a Software Sales Consultant to support our Business Development team. As a Software Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales support activity, as it relates to software, ELA's and overall Lifecycle Services, to prospective clients. This position will be a leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to Client Executives, Account Managers and Impact Teams. Work is non-routine, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. In this position, you will be responsible for the following:


+ Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Account Managers and Impact Teams as it applies to software sales and Enterprise License Agreements

+ Develop and deliver high quality standard WWT presentations and demonstrations

+ Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall WWT software and Lifecycle Management solutions

+ Develop and manage reference clients through high quality technical, professional client relationships

+ Experience participating in customer engagement planning and supporting sales efforts preferred

+ Demonstrated ability to articulate alternatives in terms of cost, benefit, and risk where multiple solutions exist

+ Demonstrated ability to independently create and present business solutions in a manner appropriate for non-technical client senior executives

+ Knowledge of competitive environments and alternative technology solutions/approaches

+ In depth knowledge of competitors

+ Demonstrated project management skills

+ Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques

+ Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.

+ Experience with Cisco, Microsoft, EMC, and NetApp is desirable



+ Direct sales experience within the software industry, selling complex software solutions

+ Must have demonstrated track record of sales success with high dollar value technology product/solutions

+ Must be able to prospect and identify business opportunities, conduct needs analysis and present and close solutions sales to targeted accounts

+ Professional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal are required with the ability to present and establish relationships with customer's senior level executives

+ Must possess excellent negotiation and closing skills with the proven ability to qualify prospects from both an operational and financial standpoint

+ Demonstrated ability to help solve complex problems working with the responsible account teams

+ Ability to travel as required

+ Bachelor's degree is required with an advanced degree highly desirable
